Open Quote Pacific Ridge is an outstanding school. The teachers are excellent and passionate about teaching. The facilities are state of the art and the Global Vantage program (e.g., kids travel to China in the ninth grade)gives them international experiences and a global perspective. The service learning clubs are meaningful: one club produces an award winning magazine, and another raises money to bring Israeli, Palestinian, and American teenagers for dialogue and leadership training. The kids are articulate, engaged, and are well prepared for college. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
