Open Quote If you are looking for a school with a high standard of excellence, a caring and nurturing staff, a family oriented environment, and a Christ centered education, then I would without reservation recommend OVCA! Our children have been thoroughly prepared for the rigors of both college and life in general. I attribute much of their success to the outstanding preparation that they have received in the PreK-12th grade Academy. The financial sacrifices that we have made are paying greater dividends than we could have ever imagined! Close Quote

Open Quote I love OVCA. My 4 kids have attended for going on their 4th year and have been involved in the pre-school through middle-school thus far. It certainly is a financial commitment, but I am constantly reminded of its value. My kids are challenged academically and learn at a pace that exceeds their public school friends (by a long shot - my 4th grade daughter often tells me how much further ahead in math she is than her best friend's public 4th grade curriculum). My kids are also challenged in other areas. My 6th grader has learned the flute, cheers, plays volleyball, basketball, and spent 3 days on Catalina at science camp! That's the kind of reasons I will continue to make the sacrifices I make to send my kids to OVCA. I love the student involvement, but I also love how the teachers are invested in my kids. They often come home and want to talk about great life lessons they have been learning in school. I highly recommend OVCA! Close Quote

Open Quote My son has gone here for two years of elementary, and his teachers expect him to learn a lot, not just enough to get by. I don't have to worry about the environment he's in all day, and the classes are small (less than 20 kids in his class). Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
