Open Quote This school has heart, passion for teaching children and a better personal touch than you'd get at a family reunion. My child is in 4th grade, reading 5th grade level books, already doing long division at 8 years old. He loves being at school. I can hardly get him into the car at the end of the day. I wish I had this school when I was growing up. Close Quote

Open Quote I beleive things have gotten a bit too rote in most schools. With SO many kids in one school and the teacher/student ratios so out of whack and the lack of a workable study technology to help the kids actually want to learn and stick with it has lead to an incredible downhill slide in American education today. As a result, violance and crime have gone up.

Well, Delphi Academy has a workable study technology. They have very low teacher/student ratios intentionally and every single person who works at Delphi Academy is intensely interested and motivated to help each and every child receive the very best education. The students themeselves are very happy and motivated to be there and are actually doing things in their lives and in their enviornment to apply what they learn and help others.

I'm a very happy parent. Thank you Delphi Academy!! Close Quote

Open Quote We have 2 children at Delphi. We couldn't be happier. My kids love going to school each day...really! They're flourishing, both reading well, excellent scores in Math, and interested in learning.

Their teachers care. I've brought up different concerns over their 5 years and they've been addressed each time. Close Quote

Open Quote my daughter has been going to this school since she was 4 years old - within 3 weeks she was reading. We pulled her out at one point to try another school and we were all miserable. She is back at delphi and happy.

they have a wonderful pre school now and the summer school is brilliant!!!!!! Close Quote

Open Quote We are parents of Quadruplets. They are all very different and have different learning styles. This is a wonderful school because their individualized teaching methods make all my kids do their best enjoy learning and are doing great. They are always very interested in learning never want to leave their school they are turning 10 this month and have been at Delphi since they were 5. I personally recommend this school to any parent that want the absolute best for their children.

Open Quote The only school I am aware of where children never want to leave. My kids are 9 & 8 respectively; and far ahead of most of their peers. They are in school from 8-5 & when I come to pick them up they want to stay to continue their education. This fact alone surprises me everyday. Delphi's provides individualized tailored programs for each child & they are allowed to progress at their own rate - so my kids are not held back or stalled waiting for others to catch up. In order to progress a student must achieve at least 85% on every exam & even after this is done the teachers still take the time to go back & check every missed item and correct it for complete understanding. The communication with the Teachers, the Dean and Head Mistress is fantastic; as it needs to be; to provide a curriculum like this. The extracurricular opportunities are amazing - plays, private piano and signing lessons, karate, plus sports teams, and active & responsible student government, etc... There is no other school like this - the kids study with a purpose in mind and therefore are always interested in what they are studying as they find a way that it can be applied to their current dreams and goals. Kid's are also taught to support one another in their differing goals & it is beautiful to watch the respect they have for one another. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
