Sanislo Elementary School is a public elementary school in Seattle, Washington, serving students from kindergarten to 5th grade. With a diverse student population, the school has faced significant academic challenges, consistently ranking in the bottom quarter of Washington elementary schools.

Sanislo Elementary's performance on standardized tests, such as the SBAC and WCAS, is significantly lower than the state and Seattle School District averages. In the 2023-2024 school year, only 39.76% of Sanislo students were proficient or better in English Language Arts, compared to 52.63% statewide and 67.59% in the district. Interestingly, Sanislo Elementary's academic performance is significantly lower than most of the nearby schools in the Seattle School District, such as Pathfinder K-8 School, Fairmount Park Elementary School, and Gatewood Elementary School, which all have much higher proficiency rates on standardized tests.
