As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My whole entire life I have been a student of the Puyallup school district. I went to Woodland Elementary for all seven years and it molded my childhood for the positive; I actually still go back to volunteer there a couple times a week. As I progressed, I went on to Ballou junior high, and yet again had a pleasant experience. So my whole school career I had waited to go to Rogers, always driving by and being so excited to be apart of the ram crew... It really breaks my heart to know that going to Rogers has been one of the biggest let downs for me, and even several of my friends.
Rogers has ABSOLUTELY NO DISCIPLINE, no structure. They are absolutely out of their minds with stupidity when it comes to running that school. THERE ARE TOO MANY STUDENTS IN SUCH A SMALL BUILDING. You honestly can just walk down the hall and see excessive public displays of affection, terrible language and fights on DAILY basis. It is ridiculous. It is a mad house. Rogers is exactly like how satire Hollywood movies portray... Teachers trying to be "cool" and always favoring the kids who are more wealthy... Sending all the money for cheerleading and football teams... They do not care, and the worst part? They are not even afraid to admit it.
I am actually on this very website to find a different high school to attend... best of luck to my fellow classmates... who I also know many of them are planning on finding an alternative high school... Close Quote

Open Quote Rogers is an okay school. I would give it one & a half if there was that option.
What I strongly dislike about it, is its lack of openness and respect among the students. There is trash everywhere and virtually no one respects the school itself. Kids don't show school spirit and don't enjoy going to school. They cheer for the games and sports, but when it comes to anything else, they lack. I really can't wait to graduate from Rogers High School, and hope someday student-life changes.
The school is full of snobby girls, and cocky boys. The teachers are friendly, but lack relationships with the students beyond the "popular" kids.
Rogers is awful at informing students about upcoming events and schedules. Every week, I find myself or another student asking "What? When did this happen?" "They never announced this" (and I am one to pay very good attention to things) Rogers is a poor excuse for a school and is only trying to deceive people of their flaws by masking it by the little accomplishments they've received. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
