Open Quote This school has gone downhill over the past 7 years. There is a very negative environment between administrators, teachers and students. The school claims to be college preparatory yet many students do not go on to college, several go to community college and several drop out of college after the first semester. Are the really preparing students for college? There are a lot of students drinking and smoking pot and this seems to be the norm there. Several families have left the school over the past years and now drive 45 minutes to 1 hour to take their kids to better area private schools. It's a shame that this school is no longer an option for a private education in this community. Close Quote

Open Quote Definitely for the college bound student - their AP Test scores and SAT scores cannot be beat in the area. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
