Open Quote FA was a huge disappointment for our family on so many levels. The academic program at FA is average at best - a handful of excellent teachers mixed with many poor teachers, who lack the experience or ability to run an effective classroom. Sadly, the overall culture at FA tends toward nastiness, not just coming from entitled students, but also exuding from many of the administrative staff and even the teachers. Ultimately, we left FA because our kids were not particularly happy or challenged, and they did not look forward to attending school. The upside? Our kids are now enjoying rigorous academics and healthy social lives elsewhere and we are saving the money we were throwing away at FA. Close Quote

Open Quote Looking for an school that will bring out the best in your child? Look no further. I have two children at the school, one in middle school and one in upper school. Both have been there since Kindergarden. They are very different children but both have excelled in this academic environment. The community of teachers, parents, and students all working together has given our kids opportunities they would not have found in another school. Independent thinking and academic responsibility are part of their everyday learning. They will graduate better prepared for college. I couldn't be happier. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
