As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I currently attend this school and I have not liked in the year and a half I've been here. Last year, one of my teachers was extremely rude and inconsiderate. She did not seem to care about any of the students and because of her, I almost failed Math. This year however, seems to be going in the correct direction if it continues this way. My History teacher is out at the moment, and we've had a substitute for several weeks, and she is not exactly nice. She will not let you leave the room or ask you questions in the first 20 minutes of class (apparently it's "too early" to ask. WTH????). The other teachers are pretty nice but you do have some bad apples in there.

Another thing that really ticks me off is that we have to be there by 7: 20, meaning most of the time I'm getting up at 5: 30 to catch a bus, and I am an insomniac, so I get less sleep than the average kid... It really doesn't help. It's only the third month of school and I look like Zombie Summer from the Walking Dead. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
