As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The school treats the parents like criminals and feels like a prison. It is near impossible to get on to campus to have access to your own children, for reasons such as, a dentist appointment. However, even when you are buzzed in to come in through the front door, you have to show government issued ID and sign in - like a prison. Furthermore, after 3:00, they keep your children without you having access to them, for over an hour, unless you have committed your child to be picked up 24 hours in advance - this is not district policy and is illegal according to state law, which says the school cannot deny you access to your children except but 15 minutes prior to dismissal (which is at 4:00).
My children are all GT - a protected class in Texas, and yet are constantly ignored by their teachers. I have to buy curriculum and teach them at home, after school, to keep them engaged in learning, because their school curriculum consists of crafts and busy work.
Hopefully the principal sees this and corrects course. Close Quote

Open Quote This school has provided poor customer service and have not offered my children a safe place to attend. They have a poor anti-bully program and their concern for children is minimal. They have vague policies that are difficult to understand the unwritten portion of the policies that they have also created. The parents are then blamed for not following policy. Parents are not included in the decision making process in regards to their own children. Everything is ultimately up to the principal. I do not find out pertinant information about my children until it is too late. Their is a breakdown in their overall system. They are rude and do not understand proper customer service. The teachers yell at the children because they are unsure of how to handle the children. The administration tolerates this as a whole. The admin assistants are unprofessional and enjoy talking about parents in front of other parents. All these people need training. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
