As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This school is by far the worst school I have ever been inside. You have students cursing at eachother from one end to another, and grown adults working there not telling them anything. Just recently I had a phone call saying my daughter was getting a referral because she slapped a boy. Her reason was he was talking about her and name calling at her, pushing her almost making her fall. So she got fed up and slapped him making him cry. I asked if she had told a teacher she replied the teacher said if he wasnt talking to her inside the classroom then it didn't matter as long as it wasnt inside the classroom. And im wondering why would you allow any kind of behavior on your school grounds just not while in session. Why is my daughter getting picked on, And these teachers not doing anything about it. Would it have been different had my daughter started crying? Close Quote

Open Quote Personally this school is okay; the teachers are nice some can be mean just try them. I went there for my 7th and 8th grade year(08-11). It was a great experience although E.B Comstock has had a number of 8th graders repeat the grade not once but twice; I know I'm one of the students who repeated 8th grade twice. Close Quote

Open Quote E.B Comstock Middle school is a very good school like any other.People are scared of taking their children to that school because of the rumors. The children who don't want to bad don't have to be bad if they don't want to be bad.Even though there are problems and fights at Comstock there are also good things happening like the school is beggining to raise up there grades and teachers are working very hard.Students really like this school once they try it.I am part of trying to help this school come up by volenteering. Please I hope you do the same. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
