As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote That school is terrible and I wish my kids were not stuck there. If you pick school choice then you have to get your kids there and pick them up. Some parents can’t do that. For special needs students, this school is a joke! If I could give a zero then I would! Close Quote

Open Quote There are problems at this school. Not very good with handling issues that arise at school. Seems that there's a kind of "we don't have time to deal with it" attitude. The counselors are too busy to provide advice. Very disturbing when your kid is a good student, and falls prey to another students known behavior issues. I think they are scared to do anything with the problem kids for fear of violating the lil' tyrants' mental or patient privacy rights or something. When a problem kid is on meds, I get that he has rights, but does that have to mean that no-one else has any? Why does my kid have to be his victim? That's not right. We have been extremely understanding. I have more than one kid of my own, and one of them had to take meds when he was in school. I understand how challenging it gets and would never consider making fun of, or degrading someone for having these issues. I learned that letting things slide and excusing unacceptable behavior, is not an effective exercise of discipline and is in no way therapeutic towards changing the behavior. It's really quite simple. Common sense stuff. It is the schools' way of dealing with things that seems to be the issue. My son has been preyed-on and victimized by this kid. We are not quick to react to these kinds of things, because we do empathize, but enough is enough. By the way, my kid is not the only one whom has experienced this type of issue at this school. I know 2 other families over the past 3 years that yanked their kids out of this school for the same types of issues. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
