Open Quote My 8th grader loves to go to school each day! It is his 4th year at USL and he continues to be challenged and engaged by the rigorous academic programs and the weekly learning outside of the classroom (LOTC) field trips. Each year he has had new opportunities for leadership, civic engagement, and fun. As a parent, I appreciate that he will leave middle school with 2 high school language credits and 2 high school math credits. But even more important than his excellent academic progress, USL has helped to reinforce the importance of good character, kindness, and citizenship. We've been pleased with the level of communication from the school, the high quality of the teachers and staff, and the friendly learning environment. We are so fortunate to have found this place! About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
