Open Quote From K-4 to 12th grade, HPCS provides an excellent education. The environment in which the children are taught is a caring and nurturing one that allows the children to excel in academics and extracurricular activities. On standardized testing, my children score 2-5 grades above their current grade, and actually Post High School on some levels. With all of their teachers being Mastered prepared, I know that my children are being taught by experienced, devoted teachers, and that is evident in their grades and overall understanding of life around them. I was a little leary at first with the school being Christian, but I have never felt pressured by the school to attend their church or felt like the main emphasis of the school was to 'save' the children and parents...they leave that up to the parents and their own specific religion/beliefs. They offer a lot of extracurricular activities from sports to music, to drama, etc. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
