Open Quote My son went to this Goddard school after a friend recommendation. The school has a good space and adequate activities. However, I found the school teachers' quality is uneven. My son's first teacher is very responsible and has a lot of experiences with the young child. So my son was very happy with her. But when his teacher left the school and my son changed to a young, inexperienced teacher's class, my son became unhappy. We talked to the teacher several times to see what the problems were. She had no clue and kept saying she cannot communicate with my son who was only 3.5 at the time. So we ended up changing a school for him. He became happy again and we didn't find such a dramatic change in teacher's quality in his current school. Overall I felt it's important for the parents to know the class teachers before enrolling in this school because that could make a big difference. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
