Open Quote We love this school! The staff and faculty are wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable. I cannot imagine where we would be if we would not have found the Susquehanna Waldorf School. Our daughter, who was struggling in traditional education, is now thriving. Beyond thriving. This is the most nurturing and loving environment we have come across in an educational setting. Open Quote Our family relocated to Lancaster County after a statewide school search.

Susquehanna Waldorf offers a whole-person education, caring for the mind, spirit and will of each child. Our daughters are currently enrolled in Kindergarden and First Grade. We deeply appreciate that the Early Childhood program nurtures our youngest daughter, allowing for creative and imaginative play, without pushing her to begin academics. Our First Grader, on the other hand, who is school-ready, is offered a rich and wonderful curriculum (including Spanish and Mandarin classes).

We've found the Management Team responsive to issues and the faculty engaged in both regular subject study and parent education. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
