As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I have two children who currently attend the middle school and I can't be more pleased. Both of my boys are thriving and I truly believe it's because of the teachers and administrators. I am writing this review specifically because when I went to the most recent teacher conferences, I got the feeling of - wow these teachers really know my kids and genuinely care about them. One of my boys has an IEP and the support he gets is amazing. I was worried about him starting 6th grade but all those worries are gone now. My kids are so lucky to have such a nice school on a beautiful campus with so many educational opportunities. We are looking forward to the high school years! Close Quote

Open Quote I would not go to this school next year. The school is not CLEAN at all! There are bugs, no locks on bathrooms, and rude kids. There is so MUCH Bullying that happens, that they have Bully forms in each room! The teachers are all right, but they don't know how to calm the students down. This is a school with a lot of "Derelict" kids. It is not a very safe school either, they do not even lock the front doors. This is a very rude, disrespectful school, that I would not want to send my child in! Close Quote

Open Quote I go to this school i am in 8th grade and it is my last year here. This school isnt good at all. All the roofs leack even when there isnt rain. Kids always smoke in the bathrooms. There are cockroches. My locker had ants in it when i didnt even have food in my locker. It was from a locker a few rows down and it spread to every locker in the hallway. The water is brown. Theres alot of drugs and drinking mixed up too. There is alot more to say thats not good about this school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
