Open Quote I write as a parent who feels extremely grateful for the support and wonderful teaching at NAISNY.

My twins have attended since September 2014 and I have proudly watched them grow in confidence, make strong friendships and develop a love of learning. They are happy and they are exceeding.

The teachers are all talented, inspiring and warm. They truly care about our children’s education and well being. Communication with parents is excellent.

There is a strong sense of community, you’ll feel it as soon as you walk in. There is something very special about this School! Close Quote

Open Quote We've been at Nord Anglia for 3 years now and my daughter absolutely loves it! Lessons are inquiry based, which means the students are very hands on with everything they learn. Class sizes are small, giving teachers the opportunity to really get to know each child's learning style. They make sure that students are engaged, challenged, and supported where needed.

My daughter has always been very interested in Art & Science, so one of our main draws has been the artists in residence program where accomplished artists work with the students to teach them a variety of professional techniques. I've been so impressed with the work she's created. We've also been very excited by the STEAM collaborations with MIT.

The school provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grown in. We can't recommend it enough! Close Quote

Open Quote This is a small but incredible school that is part of a much bigger global family of Nord Anglia international school offering an unrivaled standard of education! Being part of this group bring many benefits and opportunities for students in academics, performing arts and sport. The teachers are the best and ensure all students are supported and challenged. The result is that the students love school and make pronominal academic progress.

The facilities at the school are amazing with classrooms being really spacious, light and really well resourced! The school also benefits from a large gymnasium, new cafeteria and other great facilities including specialized art, dance, science and other classrooms. The school has a great sense of community, values and listens to parents and students. A great example of this is the investment in the new cafeteria which came about as a result of students and parents working with the school to revamp its menus and offer even more and better choice of lunches.

The school definitely offers something for everyone including strong academics, a sense of community and opportunities for students with its collaborations with MIT, Juilliard and UNICEF. Although the school is also part of a major NY sports league, middle school students also benefit from being able to attend a Global Games for students from many other Nord Anglia schools. I strongly recommend visiting this wonderful and welcoming school! Close Quote

Open Quote I Love this School!! The community and Teachers are very welcoming and supportive. The teachers are warm and supportive which helps children feel comfortable when learning new and tricky things. My kids really love coming to school and it is important to me that they enjoy learning because lets face it - no one wants to feel like its a chore! Because it is so fun and engaging, my kids retain what they learn more than any other school they've attended before. All of the teachers even the ones who don't teach my children treat them like they are capable and important. Close Quote

Open Quote Both of my daughters (year 4 and 6) joined Nord Anglia this year, and I am constantly amazed by how happy and engaged in school activities they are. Both academically and socially, it is a beautiful environment to offer your kids the classes being small facilitates teachers to pay attention to every aspect of the students education, and for the kids to create a loving closeness among them. I feel like everyone's needs, both my daughters and us as parents, are always being addressed in an effective manner, by either the teachers, principal, or the rest of the staff. We are so happy we chose Nord Anglia for our daughters, and look forward to adding more years of great education with them! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
