As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The Principal is a very unprofessional, disrespectful person and you will definitely get a sense of carelessness from her. I witnessed her speaking to Chinese parents. OMG most disgusting experience ever. Once she realized that the parents dont's speak fluent English, she was very sarcastic when spoke to them and made a lot of inappropriate remarks, laughing at the parents in front of their child. I just hope they sue her. So humiliating and intimidating atmosphere.
So, I just wonder what type of example she sets for our children.
The main reason I transferred my child to another school is because of her. I had 2 personal encounters with her and both times you just know she doesn't care.
BTW teachers (those in her "favorite" cycle) absolutely inappropriate. They talk to people like all of them is in charge. No respect whatsoever. For no particular reason. I guess they annoyed or don't like to be bothered.
Will be definitely followed up with DOE. Close Quote

Open Quote Being a teacher in the school for more than 10 years allow me to see diverse type of students. For me, it was a great privilege to educate students of diverse cultures because I came to see different learning styles and it helps me as a teacher to reflect on my teaching. Differentiating instructions regularly to cater to the diverse needs of my students helps me to see teaching in a broader sense. What was applicable 10 years ago may or may not work in this current reality because the type of learners we have are different. I need to be creative and having them gave me the sense of resourcefulness that will allow me to tap their best if not the fullest potential as learners. In other words, they make me a better teacher as years go by...

To be a part of every students' life is also a great experience because having taught and learned from them for a period of time makes me feel a sense of fulfillment. There is beauty of being a part of every child's life and all of them becoming a part of me. Over years, my students have a great impact in my life as an educator. My only dream is to make every student that I have, succeed ....reach their dreams...be grateful for whatever they have ...and most of all endure in whatever challenges they face because everything they experience in life will always benefit them in one way or another. I would love to see them become the best of what they can be, may it be a caring mother or father, educators, doctors, businessmen, managers, supervisors, CEOs, or anyone who will make a big difference in every life they touch as they live...be agents of change in the society and in the country that they served! There is no limit as to how much each of them can achieve as long as their intentions are pure that benefits not only themselves but to all that they work with. To recognize that they co-exist with others and never will they be able to accomplish where they are now without the help and assistance of other people .... Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
