As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This is actually a very good school. The education provided is good and the faculty is very caring. There is a reason for low scores on testing and it's not because of the teachers, but rather because of the students failing to follow up with their own kids with doing homework. Teachers cannot come home and teach your children as well, that is a parent's job.

It's unfortunate that many of the parents here do NOT help with the continued education aspect for their children. As a result, when it comes to testing, kids do horrible and the teachers get blamed for not doing their jobs. It's your job as a parent to make sure they continue to read, do their math exercises, grammar, etc.

As for the cons, I believe one of the things they could be improved vastly is their use of the BLOOMZ app. Communicate better with parents about schedules dates and events. Don't just dump it onto parents 1 week or a few days before. Give parents more notice to rearrange their schedules.

Also, the Bloomz app can be very useful for communicating with parents (via txt) about little notes. For example, if a certain student needs more help with math, send a txt message and let the parent know WHAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. If they did this, it would surely bring it to their attention that child needs to be better and are having difficulty with a certain subject.

Over all, I am happy with this school and with the staff. The children are very friendly for the most part and I have not witnessed bullying of any kind. I see lots of happy kids and smiles. So just know, make sure your kids do their homework, read to them if they're little, and help them with their math. You do that, then your kids will just fine. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
