Open Quote The Bosque school has been a fabulous choice for my child! I am very pleased with the quality of education and the teaching team at the Bosque. The education has been challenging, but attainable. The teachers are responsive and concerned about my child's improvement. The principal knows all the children's names. They encourage the kids to be well-rounded and active in the community. I can not think of a better choice to prepare a kid for successful life and successful college experience. Close Quote

Open Quote We've had a daughter and son both graduate from Bosque with honors. You reap what you sow as a student (& parent).
Same is true for family participation. If you're the type of parent that is "too busy" to get involved in some program for or with your child, then Bosque probably isn't a "right fit" for you.
We're extremely pleased with Bosque and we know we could not have done better for our children. Close Quote

Open Quote We were disillusioned by the school. There were students in my child's grade who for three years participated in field trips, special events and eventually graduation - not in daily classroom activity. The family donated money for part of a building. The quality of the art and language (including English) teachers and classes is high to very high, however math and particularly science instruction is quite lacking. The bosque monitoring program is over-sold as an instructional tool, while basic scientific theory is not introduced at the middle school level. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
