The Village School

An excellent, academically stellar school that focuses on the whole child. Wonderful faculty, challenging academics, and a focus on the social and emotional development of each child. So happy that we found this excellent school.

This is a school where a child can get the attention he/she needs in a stimulating and nurturing learning environment. From 18 months to 14 years a child's education is assisted by caring and extremely talented teachers. The unique developmental needs and interests of each child are respected. And safety, community and "grace and courtesy" (a Montessori principle) are stressed at the Village School. I could not imagine my child thriving anywhere else. The Village School provides a challenging curriculum and innovative education address the whole child. This is truly a wonderful school.

The Village School has surpassed our expectations! They focus on the child mastering academics, not memorizing them. They truly understand the importance of educating the whole child, how crucial executive functioning is, and they follow the child. Students can go as far as they want in their studies no matter what the grade level. They are never held back. An exceptional environment for children and parents — a close community valuing education.
