Rainbow Montessori

My child attended this school from 2011-2012. DO NOT SEND your child here. The director/owner sounded like she knows about early childhood education, but don’t be fooled. She and the classroom teacher wrongly assumed that my child had learning difficulties and he was treated like a second class citizen. There were too many bad instances to list here. Few years later, we found out that in fact, my son was an advanced learner. He is in fact a member of MENSA. Also, if you are looking for a Montessori school, this is NOT an actual Montessori. They simply have a room that uses some of the Montessori tools. The teacher we had was NOT Montessori trained. Any school can use the name, “Montessori”. Please research. If you want a truly challenging learning environment, this is not it. The director/owner had a tutoring place she ran in another location. I’m not sure if that’s still the case. The end of year graduation performance was very underwhelming. We very much regret sending our child here, even for 1 year.
