Open Quote This school needs to provide certified teachers. Stay @ home mothers becoming teachers just do not have the experience and education. Tuition of $4,500 you would expect your teachers to have some higher education in their respected field. It does not provide the social environment conducive for a child's social development with a limited enrollment of 60-70 students from K to 12th grade. Close Quote

Open Quote Ocean County Christian Academy is a small school but is very competetive in academics.Their focus is on academics and Christian values. The staff is friendly and genuinely concerned for the students spirit filled life. Although the students do have gym classes their after curricular sports program is not the main priority. The school however does have a competetive girls JV & Varsity volleyball team a boys basketball team hoping to expand to have a girls basketball team this year. The tuition is relatively low in comparison to other private schools. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
