Open Quote This is a wonderful school!
Waldorf is an educational philosophy that really teaches kids to use their minds and find creative solutions, as opposed to just "pouring facts into their heads" and then testing to see if they can spit out the right answers. They allow children to be children while preparing them to become well-rounded, thinking adults. Plenty of arts, music and time outdoors in nature on the beautiful country campus.
The teachers are warm, bright and dedicated, with an amazing ability to really know each student as a whole person and to work with a child's particular strengths and temperament.
High school teachers often say they can tell the former Waldorf students because they are curious, enjoy learning and really know how to think.
My daughter attended The Waldorf School of Princeton from pre-school through eighth grade and my son will graduate next year. People comment on my kids' level of awareness and maturity. I give most of the credit to their Waldorf education. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
