This school has been on a downward spiral for the past couple of years. The administration constantly wings it and frequently leaves the teachers unsupported. Leadership at this institution is lacking and changes every few years. The "School Committee" (a.k.a. School board) puts forth the minimum effort and there is no real oversight provided. The current Head of School is concerned only with her own agenda and the appearance that all is well. Concerns are not dealt with in any type of substantive manner. 90 % of the teachers are excellent but they have no real authority in the classroom to deal with behavior issues nor are they given the tools and support to assist children in this area.

Parts of the curriculum are way behind the times but certain areas shine such as the advanced Spanish Curriculum. The facilities are lacking greatly. There is no lunch program and the extra-curricular activities are poor with little participation on the part of the students.

Tuition tops out at 13,000 plus and for that amount of money you can do a lot better for your child at many other schools. Close Quote
