As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This school is dehumanizing. I have hated it my entire life. Don't just think that I am saying this because i don't like doing work I actually like learning. They hire teachers that don't even have degrees. In 7th grade, I had a math teacher that almost everyone can agree was on drugs. She claimed she had a "math certificate". Not only did she mentally abuse us, but she bullied us! She picked on me and a few of my classmates. I have no idea why when I had an A in her class all 4 marking periods. She also never taught us anything. I think I'm speaking for anyone that ever had her. She would give us lessons that said they were fifth grade on them and we had already learned. No wonder I passed her class. Another factor that causes me to strongly detest this school is the teachers. Most teachers are miserable and treat us like criminals. Everyone is afraid to ask any questions because they will most likely snap. We have a minimum of 2 1/2 hours of homework/night. The principal is unworthy of his placement and is a pompous ass. He is arrogant and thinks he is god almighty. We need cards to go outside and if you get below a d in a class, you do not get one. Therefore, you cannot go outside until the next marking period. If you forget or lose your card, you shall not be permitted to step foot outside or god knows what'll happen to you. They treat us like college scholars and i do not think they realize that we are ages 4-14. I cry every night, every morning, and every day when I get off of the bus. Now that I'm in 8th grade and have suffered, 7 hours a day, 180 days a year, for about 10 years, I think I know how this school goes. It's changing, changing for the worst. Don't just think I'm the only one that feels this way. All day I hear, "I hate this school." My parents even hate it if after they heard the horror stories that came from this so called "school". Please, if you are considering incarcerating your child through this concentration camp, don't do it. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. Please help. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
