Open Quote This is not a school you want to send your young children to. They HAD a wonderful 3rd grade teacher who I absolutely adored, but their older grade teachers are lazy, mean and absolutely horrible when it comes to working with the parents to make sure their children succeed. They frequently yell and scream at the children when they feel that the kids are out of line. If you bring these situations to the principle, she will advise you that your child is lying even when multiple children are telling the exact same story. They are lazy when it comes to checking the children's planners to make sure all their homework is listed so you can make sure your child has his/her work completed and if your child has ADHD or any special needs, this is not the school for you. They will not work with you or your child's counselors. STAY AWAY!!!! Close Quote

Open Quote I have been very pleased with my child's education as he switched from public school into St. Mary's entering third grade. It is a positive environment. The students are very respectful. Starting the day with mass is very nice, the students are so well behaved. The priest has a sermon that is directed to the students level of understanding. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
