As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote When my child start up at the school three years ago, I was so thrilled . Now as my statement is finishing their eighth-grade year, and a new principal has taken over, I can hardly wait for the last day of school. The teachers here have been allowed to pick on students and single them out as well as make every day life as miserable as possible for those that aren't in any clicks. If I had another child that was coming into the school I would do an out of zone transfer. So sad! This used to be one of the best schools in the area . Close Quote

Open Quote What I thought about this school was over all exellent. I just left this school and I for the most part thought it was great. The only things about this school that I didnt like was all the homework the algebra 1 kids got everyday, I had like 2 hrs worth of stuff and not to mention the other subjects that I had to do. Also, I thought that the Algeba 1 teachers graded way to hard. There was absolutly no partial credit at all, if the awnser wasent right then the WHOLE problem was wrong, even if it was like a 12 step equation were the calculater could only do one step. But in the end I did do pretty well on the eoc so dont let your kids get discurraged and I would Highly recomend Mrs. Lisa Mudgett to teach your child if they are about to take algebra 1.
The other thing that really got on my nerves was that everywhere you looked there was someone telling you to be quiet and stop talking. I bet I had scilent lunch for about half the year and most of the time the 8th grade didnt even know what they were doing. If you even say a word its silent lunch. They really need to let the kids talk more because for alot of people it is the only time that they get to see their friends is at school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
