Open Quote We absolutely love this school. My daughter is starting her fourth year here and it is such a fun and caring school. Everyone who works there treats you and your child like one big family. The principal cares so much about the children and lets them do so much fun stuff from talent shows, dances, programs, dress up days, jean days and class parties. It means so much to me that my daughter is excited to go to school. And a huge part of that is because the staff there, the principal, teachers, assistant teachers, office workers, cafeteria ladies, janitors, music teacher, librarian, art teacher, PE teacher, everyone. The curriculum is great as well, it's challenging but they are learning so much. I was worried about Common Core at first and was overwhelmed at the homework that was required every day, but it is actually quite manageable. I do like that they will put your child in the class that best fits their pace. There are advance classes and classes for children who need a little bit more one on one time to get the material. The building itself is also nice, there is a lot of natural light and it is covered in student artwork, I love that. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
