Open Quote I have two children in this school for several years. They do quite well. The courses are routine requirements still at this age, but they are taught effectively, because the kids retain the information. They ancient arts of RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY are continuously demonstrated and it shows in the children. Many schools today either don't have/take the time to encourage this or it simply is no longer a priority, unfortunately. As a 'non-custodial' parent I'm especially pleased that both teachers and office personnel are instrumental in keeping me informed of my kids school experiences. The guidance counselor demonstrates a genuine interest also. There are several events throughout the year the children really look forward to. And although volunteer hours are a requirement to keep tuition costs down, there are several opportunities to participate. Helping us to help ourselves is yet another valuable behavior to instill in kids. There seems to be a diverse group of families in this school. The Monsignor & Priest are quite present in the kids lives, too. Kids still have the usual social 'stuff' to navigate, but daily violence and/or total peer disregard don't seem to be part of it. Perhaps making it just a little bit more pleasant to navigate through the childhood school years. Justanothermom :) Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
