As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote We love this school! My daughter definitely excelled. From principal, to teachers, to support staff, I didn't meet a one who wasn't great. You could tell that they were there for the right reasons.

The principal, Mrs. Casey, sets a great atmosphere for the school. She is always out in front with a smile, greeting the parents and kids. Her door/phone line is always open, if you have a question or concern. Her positive attitude is infectious.

The reading instruction is set up, where I know exactly what level she is at and I can watch her move up. It's exciting to see her progress.

The behavior challenged kids receive the same happy face as the well behaved children. Plus, I witness actions taken to help the behavior challenged kids become more successful with this endeavor. My daughter is more on the well behaved side, but was helped along with treasure box in the class room and Hoot Tickets for the overall school. Getting to be principal for a while, if you earn enough Hoot Tickets - ingenious. Treasure box items could be bought with enough Hoot Tickets, or having lunch with certain people was also very exciting.

If a parent wants to be involved, they are met with open arms and lots of thank you's.

They even have a garden supervised by Master Gardeners. Each class gets their own plants to grow and harvest. Master Gardeners teach a grade how to can vegetables. They can eat their harvest at lunch. Fresh vegetables at lunch - what an awesome program. My daughter was willing to try things that I'd never heard of because she grew them.

The school pledge of integrity, safety, respect, personal best says it all. My daughter was saying the pledge first week.

WE LOVED THIS SCHOOL! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
