I am a grandparent and this is my grand-daughter's first year at St. Michaels. She has an outstanding teacher and the class size was 17 with two instructors available to the children.

She is a bright child and started the year of kindergarten knowing all of her letters and being able to write some words, her name etc. After one year, she can read simple books, speak some spanish and loves going to school. Her school friends are well behaved children because we've had them over for a birthday party. She has two best friends now from school.

The school building, while older, is always brightly decorated and warm and inviting. We attended several public events including a Christmas concert put on by the two classes of kindergartners that was so appealing and just plain fun. The kids were obviously having fun too.

It's nice to find a school that still teaches art, music, second languages, gym and sport in addition to the three R's. We are hoping to keep her and her brother here for their full 8 grades plus kindergarten. Can't say enough good things. Close Quote
