Open Quote This school is Wonderful!! A small school, but a gem!!! My two boys go here, and I have never heard a "I don't want to go to school today/anymore!" It a blessing to drive away each morning and know your kids are truly cared for! Thanks CLS! Close Quote

Open Quote We have been a part of the Central Lutheran School community for the past 7 years. There isn't another school in St. Paul I would want to send my kids. They are receiving a top-notch education along with many other perks that kids at public schools are being deprived of via budget cuts...every week my kids have art, music, computor, and gym class. Every day they have recess and wholesome, kid friendly hot lunch options. Grades 5-8 also go to hands-on science lab! We have two choirs, band, and many after school sports options for grades 4-8. Class sizes are small and the teachers are excellent and truly care about their students. It is a safe and respectful environment and provides a well rounded educational experience for grades K-8. They also have preschool! We love the diversity there, as well. Above all, it is a private school experience at a price most families can afford as they strive to keep the "CLS experience" affordable for all, plus there is a great deal of scholorship funds available and they will work with any family who desires to send their kids there. It is a great community of teachers, parents, and students!!! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
