Open Quote This school used to be the best school in Livingston county with the highest MEAP scores. But since the arrival of Principal Judy in 2011 the quality has rapidly deteriorated. The good discipline policy was thrown out the window for a vague and inconsistent policy. Students no longer take the Meap so who knows how we compare to other area schools. Basic educational opportunities like Reading night, Science Night , Young Authors project, fine arts night etc no longer exist and have not been replaced with other opportunities. The principal puts in the bare minimum in time at school and is gone by 4pm most days. She has no passion for academics. We are supposed to pray the Rosary in October and May to honor Mary(it is in the handbook) and that has not happened. Swearing has been a serious problem with my son's class and she refuses to let parents help with the problem. My son plays by himself as a result because he fears getting in trouble. As parents we took our concerns to the priest and diocese but they did not rectify the problems. Instead the diocese dealt with it at the parent meeting in a very arrogant and condescending manner. I am saddened that my youngest child will not receive the fine Catholic education that his siblings got. Many fine long term families are leaving with a sad heart and the staff is starting to leave also. It is a sinking ship. Such a shame that a 70 year school is being ruined by one person. About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
