As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Do NOT send your children to this school. Incompetence is how I would describe this school. They say that they are an open-door school, that's a lie. They told me that the teachers have to have 24 hours notice to know if a parent is coming to the school. When I asked if I could speak to them right now. She went to check with the teachers and they refused to see me to discuss my child's academic work. So, if this school is open-door like they say it is, what happened? They told me I had to make an appointment to talk to a teacher. Really?? I have been to other schools and never have been treated like this. I cannot even go to the classroom to watch the teacher teach, as I have done in other schools in the same district.

Think very carefully before putting your children at this school. This is a charter school ran like a public school. I am still waiting for the secretary to call me with an appointment with the principle, it has been a month. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
