Open Quote i think that nms has a lot of drama causing people in it and its the school that doesnt do really do anything about it til someone gets hurt or someones about to get kicked out of school. students arent supposed to be the ones handling these problems by themselves, the teachers and staff members are supposed to be the ones to help out too. nms staff doesnt really have good reasons to not help and to get students kicked out of school or even hurt. i dont think that theyre should be a cop at nms either cause taht right there freaks people out. if nms cant handle being a safe school and helping there students, then there needs to be some changes no matter what. i personaly dont think that the staffing is all taht great either. theyres the nice teachers and theres that mean and strick and loud screaming teachers too. thats not what millers are all about. this is supposed to be a safe place/ school to be at, and i dont think that it is with everything thats happened this year and its only been like 5 weeks since the first day of school. nms needs to step up the education and help students out better. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
