Open Quote My kids have both attend Spectrum from 1st thru Middle School. We love the learning environment and the multiple-age classrooms. It has allowed them to develop leadership and mentoring skills as they partner with the younger kids in each class level. The teachers and administators use a multiple intelligences approach which values exploring topics from all directions using many different disciplines. I think this is an ideal school if you want to avoid an environment that "teaches to the test". I am always amazed and thrilled when I attend school events and see and hear even the youngest students speaking in front of large groups if kids and adults. The self-confidence that is developed here is fantastic. I highly recommend Spectrum. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
