Open Quote Our children absolutely love attending PCA! As parents, we are amazed at how much they learn and how happy they are to be in such a loving and family-oriented environment. They constantly ask us to allow them to get together with their school friends after school, as if they don't see each other enough during school! The teachers are so wonderful and caring, the priests are great spiritual role models and the families that attend are so connected. We couldn't ask for a better combination of strong academics, a moral foundation and a connection to Hellenic culture. Close Quote

Open Quote Pythagoras Children's Academy is a hidden educational gem nestled in the western suburbs of Chicago where we send our son to school. As a student, he has thrived each year while simultaneously being happy and eager to go to school each day. This realization is partly due to the warm, engaging and disciplined environment and partly because the teachers are so dedicated to the profession of teaching. The teachers go the extra mile challenging each student to exceed their current level, and I especially love that the teachers advocate organizational skills. The academics, language, culture and faith taught at Pythagoras Children's Academy allow students to develop life skills. If education is the answer to success then Pythagoras is the place to earn that education! Vasiliki L. Close Quote

Open Quote The best decision of our lives was to send our kids here!
Can't wait for PCA to expand to 5th grade! Our kids are embraced in
a safe, nurturing and loving "family" Orthodox Christian environment
in which they excel academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.
Thank you, PCA, for giving customized attention to our children and
addressing their every need. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
