Open Quote My son attended this school for the first 2 weeks of Kindergarten, he has an IEP and I had informed the school that we needed to update his IEP asap due to a knew diagnosis, he was handled so cruelly and the IEP counselor wasn't notified of any incidents until he was already handled by the office staff/principle whom were extremely rude and unprofessional each time I was notified of my sons typical 5yr old behavior. My son came home crying and throwing up twice saying he didn't want to go to school anymore and my son is a very social & kind boy. I withdrew him immediately and asked for the large amount of supplies I made sure to get (everything on the list name brand and labeled everything) I was given a small ziplock bag of used items and was told other things were used and disbursed throughout the class and was not going to get any kind of refund until I could show banking info or receipts in which I had informed the principle all of the items were purchased with different methods of payment at various stores and all receipts were gone by now. Mrs. Baker the principle was extremely rude and hard to speak to.
After such a traumatic experience for my son I've now seen terrible reviews and similar stories and would highly suggest avoiding this unprofessional and extremely unorganized. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
