As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The assignments my children are getting are the same as my little sister received when she went nearly 15 years ago. They spend nearly $9000 per student and 70.6% of that is on teachers salaries.

The condescension of the staff is intolerable and it took threats of litigation to get my oldest excluded from liberal programs that have no business in a public school system. And on top of that their ISAT scores are horrendous with most grades hovering around 50% meeting state requirements.

Now we have the retired superintendent working the max allowed to still receive his full pension. So we are paying him more now then we did when he was full time. So here's my question... If we could get by with a superintendent that only works 100 hours now why do we need to replace him with a full time salary? (The largest salary in the school)

This school is a prime example of public schools gone wrong. If the state just cut me a check for the $9000 they supposedly spend to educate my kid I could provide a quality Catholic education or some pretty awesome teaching materials for my wife to home school him. Taxes through the roof and $250 in school fees absurd!!!!!!!!!! Close Quote

Open Quote This school does not provide a challenging enough curriculum for the students. When I compare the work assigned to my child to the work that my friends' children are given at their school, it seems as if Chaney Monge is extremely behind. In addition, the school is small, poor, and the staff isn't very friendly. I am glad to say that my son won't be attending next year! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
