Pleasant Hill CUSD 3

The Pleasant Hill CUSD 3 district in Illinois has two schools - Pleasant Hill Elementary School and Pleasant Hill High School. While the high school appears to be the stronger performer, with a higher statewide ranking, better test scores, and a higher graduation rate, both schools are underperforming compared to state averages.

Pleasant Hill High School has a 3 out of 5 star statewide ranking, with 26.9% of students proficient or better in SAT ELA and 19.2% in SAT Math. In contrast, Pleasant Hill Elementary has a 0 out of 5 star ranking, with only 11.7% proficient or better in ELA and 3.4% in Math. However, the high school also has a concerning chronic absenteeism rate of 43.9%, much higher than the 23.3% at the elementary school.
