As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The principal at this school does not care about her students at all. She lies to them and to the parents about what goes on. When confronted about it she lies some more. We had an incident where a student threatened our kids with extreme violence and repeatedly told our kids that their dad was going to kill them. This student brought weapons and alcohol to school and showed it to everyone and discussed explicit sexual acts in front of the other students. What did the principal do about it? Nothing, instead of taking action like she should have, she continually blamed our kids and all the kids that this student bullied and call them all liars, and then put this student on a pedestal. When we were changing schools the kids wanted to say goodbye to all their friends, and we were told repeatedly that it would be a disruption to the class if they did, so the teachers cleaned out the desk for the kids and left the stuff in the office for pickup. When students asked, the principal told all the kids in the class that our children moved and couldn't say goodbye (LIES). We know this because we are friends with several of the parents who's kids are in the same class and told us what happened in class. There are a handful of teachers that were decent teachers, but the majority that we had to deal with over the course of three years, treated the kids like they were in a military academy. Forcing them to miss recess because they didn't understand something on their homework. Instead of finding time in class, they would continually be held in for all recesses, and lunch to make up work. Kids need to play, they need to run, they are not like adults. Their minds need to be cleared and refreshed during the day to maintain their focus. Most of these teachers do not understand this, or refuse to. The P.E. teacher also teaches like he is dealing with adults in the military and constantly giving all the students a 1 out of 5 on their activities because they can't do a push-up like a man can, or do sit-ups like a man can. They are kids, they don't do things like adults, their bodies are not at that point yet in their lives. Eventually, yes, they will be able to do all of those things, but to grade them and put it on their record that they failed P.E. because they can't do certain exercises is ridiculous. If you want a quality education from an institution that cares, this is not the school for you. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
