As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I was a teacher at Rimrock at one point in the past and had a very mixed experience.

The Good
Overall students at this school are from high functioning families and are quiet bright. This made teaching easier then in some areas I've taught.
The Bad
While there are some very nice students and families at Rimrock there are also some very entitled "snowflakes" whose parents will throw a fit if their kid makes a B not an A.
The former principal (Mrs. Orme) was unprofessional and incompetent. I believe she is now at a new school where I expect things will quickly fall apart. I witnessed discipline and grades in several classrooms go down because a small number of students were allowed to misbehave with no consequences. I don't mean kids being kids. I witnessed students leaving class and roaming the hallways for extended periods of time with no consequences. Kids who get phones out (which they were not supposed to have) and call their parents to come see them because they were "stressed" in school. Parents would then come back and ask teachers what was going on. An older boy threatened to punch the playground aid with no consequences. Kids plagiarized assignments and when I gave them a low grade Orme changed their grade without my knowledge. On the other hand Orme would come across the school into my room to fuss at boys who talked too loudly in the hallways. Needless to say I moved on to a new place where I'm much happier. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
