I couldn’t be more disappointed in a school district. I could write a novel about the issues we have had. My son has been completely abandoned over his learning disabilities even to the point of being told he is full of it basically. Had a teacher tell him that he was faking his nervous ticks and to cut the out in his classroom. The 504 plan he has been given “agreed” on by us and the school hasn’t been followed one bit which is absolutely illegal. In fact we made adjustments only to find out once we requested a copy as we were having severe issues wasn’t updated. Majority of the teachers are cruel to my child and he has developed severe anxiety and depression. The child loses his mind to the point of having to come home more than learning. No kid left behind? Hardly. Speaking to teachers in other districts they are appalled at what he has gone through and how he has been abandoned in his education. We had a teacher make our son call home IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS in front of EVERYONE to tell his mother that he missed assignments. Those assignments were from where he wasn’t able to attend school due to his mental health and neither parent were notified of anything missing. In fact, we have never been contacted by teachers to discuss anything until we raised so much Cain over everything then finally a couple started communicating. It’s to the point we’ve had to pull our son out and do homeschool. Way to go Needwood you have failed out child in epic proportions. You should really care more for children who require special attention. Close Quote

Honestly, I don't like Needwood because I had my phone stolen there and the administration did not even put so much effort into looking for it. I got threatened after accusing a girl of stealing my phone after people saw her with it. Administration did not care that I was getting deathly threats. I got slapped on the bus, and my mom took me to school the next day to talk to administration and before that day was over they told me that "it was accidental" after I almost had a black eye. A few days later the same girl who slapped me came up behind me and choked me. Did administration do anything about that? Well, let me tell you. NO! Administration didn't even talk to the girl, and she was not punished!!!! Close Quote
