Open Quote Very impressed with ECHS AP program. My son is always well prepared for AP exams and feels that the knowledge gained throughout the year is relevant. Great teachers and a diverse group of after school activities for all interests. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is terrible!!!!!! I moved here from Parkview High School. That school is way better. The teachers are horrible and bad scheduling. I was out of school for 4 days because of being so sick I couldn't stay awake for more then an hour and all of my teachers said they would give me only 3 days to make up that 4 days of work on top of all the home work I already had for those days. also school runs way to late. it gets out at 3 30. At Parkview I got out at 2 10 so if your kid wants to work it will be very hard because they have homework on top of getting out at 3 30. This school also has an administration that does not help kids being bullied. Teacher involvement sucks!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
