Campbell used to be a good school but now it’s very chaotic. There are fights all the time now and only some kids have to follow the rules. The principal is rude and told the kids over the announcements that they should fight each other outside of school. When my son came home and told me that, I didn’t believe him, but I asked around and it really happened. It’s a shame bc that school was on a good path. I’ll be trying to place my student somewhere else in the near future. Close Quote

My son went through all three years here. Outstanding staff and teachers. During his years there, not only did they have the Cobb County Teacher of the Year; but also, the science state teacher and other accomplished staff. The International Baccalaureate Program is geared so that everyone receives a world perspective of not only what happens in Georgia or the US but how that impacts things globally. Teachers even host a Saturday program if students need extra help. There are lots of kids who attend as well. That shows dedication for each student to succeed when you see smiles on faces even on Saturday. The school clubs placed at State in Science Olympiad and also in History Day plus Math Bowl. My son is very prepared for his high school career and a path in engineering due to Campbell Middle. Close Quote

My son goes to this school for 2 years now (he is currently 7th grade). I am sure the school overall, facilities, some of the teachers and a few of the staff are good. The 2 women in the front office are HORRID. they are rude and very unapproachable. That also goes for the one of the administrative assistants. She walks around the school with her nose up and treats everyone like she is better than everyone else. I have encountered a few good teachers, and some really bad ones. Some of them treat the students that are not perfect like they are wasting their time. I will be withdrawing my son at the end of this year to take to a school not in my district.
