Open Quote This school is beyond horrible!!! No communication at all. The teachers could care less about a students success. They stress kids about apt meetings only school I have seen do this. The meetings are unnecessary and they schedule every grade on a different night and the meeting is 1 and 15 minutes to a hour and a half. The drag their feet when it comes to testing or IEPs. It took them 4 months to complete my childs testing and gave an IEP two weeks before school ended. Which needed to be revised within the first month and half of the next year. I just have nothing good to say about the school. They ignore any and all problems and the school board does the same. The school board is not any better than the school. A lot of parents have moved out of this area because of the schools and the types of people living around here. While it looks like a nice area. There is a lot of racism and hate that goes on in this area/county and people teach the same to their kids. There is also a lot of drug addicts in this area. I do not recommend the schools or buying a property in this county! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
