Open Quote Two of my three children graduated from JPII, one is a sophomore at Duke and the other is a Plebe at the US Naval Academy. Our youngest is currently enrolled as a sophomore. We have been very pleased with the education our kids have received and both college students have stated that they have felt very prepared. At JPII they played 2-3 varsity sports and participated in many extra-curricular activities.

Religious instruction was a positive, but I really liked that they had the opportunity to have non-Catholics in their classes. Religion class at JPII is a time for our busy kids to reflect on their values, and take time to debate and think about what they really believe.

Great school, faculty and fabulous principal- more students and great families wanted! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
