Open Quote At Crestwell you are encouraged to be involved, I was on the Math team, in the school musical, in Chess tournament, STEM, Physics, Basketball, Flag football and Soccer teams.
You do learn speaking and presentation skills in your classes, labs, and at events which I use all the time.
The teachers really are great. The science teacher is amazing and does not let you give up. The principal is patient and caring.
I attended elementary and middle school at Crestwell. My Freshmen year at Fort Myers High IB. Program was like my eighth grade year at Crestwell. The IB program becomes more rigorous each year. While at Crestwell I was the highest score in Florida for the Duke University Gifted and then went to Orlando to receive the state award.
All I can say is thank you Crestwell!
When I return to Fort Myers I will send my kids to Crestwell. It is not like any other school Close Quote

Open Quote Excellent learning environment...our family could not be any happier at this school. Administration and teachers are top notch. Emphasis on educating the whole child - very academic but balanced well with positive self-esteem enforcement for the children. In addition, children are taught responsibility in making their own choices. We have found the other families to be friendly and welcoming. It is a very safe and nurturing school where the administration is hands-on and knows what is going on with the students. Music, art, and Spanish taught from Pre-K through middle. Bargain for the money we pay to get this kind of peace of mind and a solid education for our children. Highly recommended Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
