Open Quote My daughter started her first year at Oak Creek Charter last year and I was very impressed. Her teacher Mrs. Skudin was very informative and had open lines of communication. My daughter came home everyday excited about what they were learning in class. The principal is always available to address any concerns and the staff has a family friendly feel. Thank you Oak Creek Charter for giving my daughter a warm welcome and a positive learning environment! We look forward to being part of Oak Creek Charter school all the way through middle school. Open Quote Personal attention is what you can expect from this school. Here you as a parent and your child(ren) are not anonymous numbers. Principal, teachers and staff know everyone in person. The principal is always available for personal meetings. I wish they would have more financial funds for improvements. But other then that we could not be happier with our school choice. Open Quote This school has been wonderful for my child moving from another Charter school, the transition was smooth. My child was challenged by wonderful and knowledgeable teachers that provided him with a great and challenging learning environment for his sixth grade year. He was excited to learn!!!! This school has the most caring and dedicated teachers I have ever seen, they really want to challenge kids to succeed. The principal is a hands on but approachable man who truly has your child's individual educational interest at heart. My son is looking with eager interest to start seventh grade. There truly is no better learning environment for your child come see the difference this school can make in your child's overall educational experience. Parents are able to get involved in their child's education and staff is always ready to help and truly listen to any concerns you may have. Close Quote

Open Quote I am withdrawing my children from this school. Bully problem, horrible teacher direction, alot of teacher turnover, lack of supplies including class chairs! Not enough text books. No accountability. I am sad to have ever sent my children here, at 6th and 1st grades kids shouldnt ask to be moved to another school... should I say more? Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
